• Not affiliated with any political party – so will speak and act independently to build a better Geelong.
  • Allay and attempt to halt people’s despair of democratic processes concerning Geelong Council.
  • Fight for fairer priced Council parking fees in CBD.
  • Push to investigate more and other options for off-street parking in CBD with an element of paid parking permits.
  • Advocate for a more sensible approach towards introducing concessions for pensioners using  Council Recycling Centres.
  • Seek a review and reversal of Council Policy on cost sharing arrangements to construct basic boundary fencing adjoining reserves and the like.
  • Ensure consultation with citizens of Brownbill Ward - other Geelong citizens will not be excluded - at least twice each year to receive feedback, opinions and concerns on Council related matters.
  • Engage Council at a greater level with Police and other Agencies and Stakeholders to address safety and other anti-social behavior.
  • Monitor the needs of our increasing numbers of elderly persons in the Geelong LGA.
  • Develop a strong relationship with my local community and particularly Brownbill Ward residents.
  • Will work co-operatively and closely with my ten fellow Elected Councilors together with my two multi-Ward Councilors to get the job done.
  • Seek an examination and cost benefit analysis to centralise the present dislocation of Council offices - currently covering many sites- to one large site to achieve greater efficiencies and economies of scale. This will allow a speedier path for Geelong Art gallery to grow by taking much needed space in Lt Malop St.
  • Push for and initiate a roll-out of a program for a Heritage Walk together with appropriate heritage markers.
  • Adopt a Policy to continue with the commissioning and installation of more public art in Geelong similar to other cities around the world such as  Kobe , Japan.
  • Acknowledge and respect the contribution of past Mayors of Geelong and their counterparts from pre-amalgamation (1993) Councils and Shires.
  • Work with Transport Operators and Public Transport Victoria to address any public transport deficiencies, particularly in relation to buses.
  • Push for an ownership review of all Council owned assets.
  • Investigate ways to make one of Geelong's iconic attractions - Geelong Botanic Gardens - more destination friendly and noticeable, particularly for visitors to Bellarine Peninsular, by working with Vic Roads, Council Officers, Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens and local State MP's regarding easier road ingress/accessibility, especially from Eastern Beach Road , Garden Street and possibly Ryrie St.
